We are a smaller size company providing skilled tradesman services throughout the bay area.
This Operations Manager provides a great opportunity for a qualified candidate to work with a dynamic team.

5 -10 years demonstrated business/Skilled Trade experience
Demonstrated experience providing premier leadership in the technical field.


Basic Functions:

This position will manage all aspects of the Service Program.
Assist in the development and management of the Field Service Department Annual Budget
Provide oversight to the Field Service Quotation Process for all new customers
Directly Manage the Field Service Support Staff including
Qualification Requirement:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years of Managerial Experience in a technically oriented corporate environment. Must demonstrate experience and responsibility in Annual Budgeting and management of a team of Service and Support Staff .

Special Requirements: Excellent interpersonal skills and time management skills. Experience in Quote modeling for a labor based service industry a strong plus.

Principal Activities:

Manage Field Service Department Staff
Develop and manage the Field Service Department Budget
Responsible for recruiting and hiring Technicians and Staff for Department as needed.
Oversight of the On boarding Process for all new employees.
Complete Annual Employee reviews.
Oversight of Data Base for all Field Service Assets supported by Field Service Technicians with support from Technical Writer.
Oversight of Field Service Standards Program in cooperation with Lab Operations Manager.
Oversight of all Field Service Equipment and Tools in cooperation with the Field Service Technician Supervisor. (Vehicles, Laptops, Tools, Standards)
Oversight of the Field Service Quotation process in cooperation with the Field Service Sales/Scheduler.
Participate in Sr. Management Meetings for Forecasting, Budgeting and Strategic Planning.
Identify CIP opportunities for Field Service and manage to completion.
Participate in monthly Managers Meetings and complete action required action items.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
