Overview:

As we expand our offerings, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Banking Director to join our team.
The Small Business Banking Director will play a crucial role in developing and managing banking products, services and support designed to meet the unique needs of small businesses.
This role requires a deep understanding of the small business market, to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and execute initiatives that drive growth and profitability.
The role will drive greenfield development of a 5-year strategic roadmap, gaining consensus with stakeholders on the resourcing requirements, business goals and organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
Co-own the business case and five-year financial roadmap with business banking leadership including:
Develop the business case in partnership with key stakeholders and ensure all inputs are sound and vettedMeasure progress compared to targets, and influence stakeholder engagement to develop action plans as neededProactively identify and manage risk to the plan (through matrix management), and escalate concerns to lending leadership and/or Executive Leadership TeamCo-own the tech solution requirements with the functional owners to ensure the needs of the small business owners are metRepresent and influence the needs of the small business banking segment to the organizationProducts and servicesChannel expectationsConduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the small business banking segmentCollaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and loan operations teams, to develop and execute business banking product strategies that align with the company's overall goalsDefine and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer needs, market demand, and competitive landscapeManage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, including ideation, requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, and launchWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new products and servicesMonitor product performance and conduct regular analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimizationDevelop pricing strategies and profitability models for business banking products and servicesStay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform product roadmap and strategyAct as a subject matter expert for business banking products, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholdersCollaborate with the marketing team to develop effective go-to-market plans, product positioning, and promotional materialsUnderstand and comply with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Patelco Credit Union's policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience (8
years) as a product manager or segment manager in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on business banking.
Strong understanding of the small business market, including the unique needs and challenges faced by entrepreneurs.
Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing banking products and services.
This position is located in Dublin HQ but may be considered for hybrid workTarget Base Pay:
$128,322 - $160,411 / per yearCompensation at Patelco:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
