Job Duties Include:
Accurately registering patients by collecting required data, registering insurance, collecting co-pays, co-insurance, surgery deposits, payment on accounts Scaning IDs and insurance cards, printing and obtaining signatures on all required documents Scheduling appointments accurately with correct physician Responsible for obtaining any authorizations, interpreters or transportation for appointments that require them Responding to alert notes that apply to front desk Completing daily paperwork such as data details, financial policies & privacy notices should be entered on a daily basis and expire alert notes if the task has been completed Scanning documents daily such as data details, financial policies, privacys, authorizations, referrals and miscellaneous documents Sorting incoming faxes from the fax machine, delegate to the correct person or department Overseeing the waiting room to assure all patients are attended to within a reasonable amount of time Informing all patients if MD/PA/NP is running behind Additional duties as assigned Our Benefits Include:
