Job Description:
California Spirit Elite is seeking additional staff for our growing facility! Instructors with a strong knowledge in cheer, stunts and tumbling preferred.
At California Spirit Elite training is available for all levels of coaches.
The ideal candidate is passionate, energetic, positive attitude, hard working, professional, driven for success and a true love for kids! Full Job Description Responsibilities include:
-Teaching a 2:

30 minute routine comprised of tumbling, stunts, jumps, pyramid, and dance.
-Teaching and spotting new skills such as tumbling, stunts and jumps.
-Attending competitions -Attending competitions (weekends required) -Leading practices for 1.
5-2 hours per practice -Teaching Recreational Tumbling & Stunting classes -This position requires all candidates to teach and instruct beginning/intermediate cheerleaders/tumblers ages 5-16 years old.
-This position requires someone who is passionate about teaching young kids and has a passion to build championship teams.
-Attend monthly coaches meetings Certification Requirements (fees required from candidate):
-Create a coach profile on the USASF (United States All Star Federation) -Pass a background check ($40) -Fingerprinted and Live Scan by City of Dublin ($45) -Become SafeSport Trained -Pass the USASF baseline coaching course -Prior Cheerleading experience (preferably competitive or all star) -Knowledge of the USASF rules and tiers or willing to learn the USASF rules and tiers -Experience with children ages 3 to 18 years old.
-Coaching experience required We will provide you with two t-shirts and a jacket as well as cover your USASF membership fee.
Once you are a member through the USASF you will have the opportunity to take courses toward becoming USASF coach certified in building and tumbling.
The position will begin in May and you will need to be available ASAP to shadow our current coaching staff and allow the athletes to become familiar with you before the start of the next season.
