This position is expected to bring continuous improvement to meet our business requirements and align with key strategies.
This collaborative role will drive the evolution of our retail technology strategy, cultivate innovation and require a strong knowledge of POS, payment and promotional systems.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Work with application teams and vendors to develop and lead the execution of store system technologies Participate in meetings with decision makers, application owners, and end users to define business, and operations requirements, performance goals, identify and resolve process issues Act as a trusted advisor to internal leaders by seeing the big picture and translating business strategies into actionable technology roadmaps and project plans Develop and maintain business cases and requirements for projects and initiatives Create and maintain IT related processes and procedures, ensuring the information and examples are timely and accurate Actively participate in store system technology software release and deployment planning to ensure new functionality is implemented without bugs or interruption for our stores Capture and report application bugs, and follow through to resolution or work around Develop and enforce testing policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Hiring pay range:

00 Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Minimum of five years of retail store system or related experience Good technical, development-focused background with experience integrating applications and systems developed by multiple parties Application development and life cycle concepts are a plus Demonstrated knowledge of infrastructure engineering components (e.
g.
OS, networks, device management, active directory, etc.
) Good understanding of PCI compliance and PII security Ability to perform cost benefit and return on investment analysis that demonstrates new efficiencies and proposed cost savings Excellent analytical, planning, organization/time management and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and work with people from other departments in the company who have varying degrees of computer/technology knowledge Experience with TLOG's, data integration with downstream applications, and impact of POS changes on different financial, legal, compliance, loss prevention, etc.
Extensive experience with payment systems (payment middleware, encryption, tokenization, settlement, offline scenarios, etc.
Extensive experience with different types of payment methods including credit, debit, gift cards, checks, etc.
as well as different payment form factors like Tap N Go, contactless, swipe, EMV, Mobile, etc.
Extensive experience with payment devices (pin pads, registers, etc.
) Extensive experience in designing solutions to improve customer experience for sales, returns, and exchanges Understands organization's core business process and operations across departments Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
