Based at our city centre hub adjacent to the Italian Quarter, this is a role with fantastic possibilities and the opportunity to work alongside our most experienced Sales Executives on a day-to-day basis, learning the fundamental elements of insurance sales, such as customer contact management, lead generation and prospecting target industries.
The role carries with it a clear path for progression to becoming a qualified insurance broker, working with clients and underwriters in Ireland, the UK and beyond, across a broad spectrum of industries including Technology, Construction, Financial Services, Engineering, Law, Manufacturing, Haulage and beyond.
Key Tasks &
Responsibilities:
Engage with prospective customers to obtain renewal dates and basic placement information Generate sales leads by telephone and email campaigns on assigned Lockton target lists Take part in client and insurer meetings to learn interactions and trading protocols Participate in weekly Sales meetings and take ownership of new projects/tasks Assist the Business Development team with timely insurance presentations to clients Manage SalesForce and other computer systems, as appropriate Process new business instructions Manage account placement and file handling via Sector, Sharepoint Respond in a timely manner to emails from Sales staff, management, customers, insurers Make a positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly strive to improve customer service via the sales process Communicates in a positive manner to contribute to a cohesive and pleasant work environment Protect the confidentiality of information learned Ensure adherence to Lockton policies, regulatory and compliance rules Ensure CIP accreditation if not already held Assist with accounts receivable on new business aged debt Attend unit/ team meetings as required and training/ social events as appropriate Build strong and trusting relationships with clients and underwriters.
Commence and progress Insurance qualifications to comply with regulatory codes Qualification Competencies:
Ability to work in a fast paced, focused and target driven team environment Outgoing, confident personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to work with customers and experience delivering excellent customer service Basic working knowledge of insurance schemes being offered by Lockton Affinity Completion of all on-line FSA and compliance modules Competent knowledge of the use of computers - various systems including Microsoft programmes Reasonable typing and keyboard skills Must be willing to meet or exceed performance objectives, with commitment and confidence Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality Demonstrate professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to and when to involve the appropriate senior associates Starting salary is EUR28,000 with the successful candidate expected to progress rapidly.

The role is primarily office based but the company does work on a hybrid basis, with both insurer and client facing elements being an important part of the job.
Insurance exams and CIP (Certified Insurance Practitioner) achievement and accreditation are compulsory with this role.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
